These descriptions and discussions of actual events are more relevant, even if incomplete in explanation, than theoretical ideas about the "paranormal" which depart into topological realms without being also anchored in mundane perceptions. For example: one of the details which most strongly militates against an "extraterrestrial" origin for the experimental aerial vehicles using nuclear power which have injured several civilians in the USA during the past two decades is simply that "nuclear reactors" are terrestrial inventions which use the elements plutonium and uranium. It is not likely that the atomic characteristics of these elements would be the same within a distant solar system. On the other hand, certain "ufo craft" appearances which seem to "change shape" in mid-air as if manipulating the fine structure of molecular coherence DO have definite "extraterrestrial origin" possibilities as the technology utilized is beyond the understandingof terrestrial nuclear scientists.
